sunny saturday

Today was the perfect mix of doing nothing and real productivity. Maybe it was because there wasn't an agenda we were trying to keep or maybe it was the warm 75 degree air filling our lungs. I don't know. But it was wonderful.

Just a swingin with Daddy.

Barefoot swinging. Bubble blowing. More swinging. Chalk drawing. Garage cleaning. And more swinging. No laundry. But a bit of running around the back yard in a shirt and diaper.

This is what I got from Juliet when I asked her to look at the camera.

Oh, and for dinner we had the MOST AMAZING french toast bake for the second time this week. I made it on Thursday for some out of town guests and accidentally bought 2 loafs of sourdough bread (misread the recipe online). So, I had an extra loaf and figured we better make it again! So so good and you can make it up the night before! Even better :)

The recipe is from the Pioneer Woman's website. I'd never made anything off her site before, and I must say that she has a new fan cause her Cinnamon Baked French Toast was mighty tasty!

Maybe we'll finish getting the garage cleaned out tomorrow so we can pull the cars inside. There's a winter storm a comin' ...
