what makes you happy

This photo pretty much sums up our day.

Both girls' temps were back to normal, but not even a popsicle on a nearly 70 degree January afternoon could make things better.

And that's hard for a Mommy.

On days like today, my motto becomes DO WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY!

You want to play in the flower pot? Play to your hearts content!!

The perfect weather made the afternoon a little less tearful. We spent almost 2 hours outside.

Her glazed over expression makes me sad as I post these. Poor thing didn't feel good.

I did manage to get a smile when I asked "What does a monkey say?"

I encourage them to get their feet wet dirty.

Oh, and Beetle's newest word. Dixie.

One of the neighbor's dogs that we can see over our fence. She watched as we played outside today through Charlie's dog window currently blockaded by a bench. She'll come right through if we don't block it. Silly puppy.
