- Last night and today we had some contractors over smoothing out the ceilings we'd previously scraped. They are finishing off the sheet rock in the new rooms and doing the ceilings for us. They've been mudding them, but I guess there is still sanding to come (likely tomorrow) so that should be a wonderful mess!
- Today we had a plumber come over and re-route the gas line that was running through where we are putting a new door way for entry into one of the rooms (play/guest room). My dad wanted to tackle this project, but with a never ending list of things for him to do we decided to go ahead and call a plumber. The plumber was here for 2 hours, so I'm thinking we made the right decision!
- Dominic has been working on tons of electrical stuff on and off over the last week or so. We're removing outlets, moving switches, etc. and so that's keeping him busy.
- My dad and Dominic took out one of the closets in J's new room. The previous owners had added the closet (so there were 3 closets total in the room) and while the storage was nice, the space will be nice too. We are adding closets in the play/guest room so we'll have plenty of space to put stuff.
