I should go to bed.
Juliet's been doing this up for 2 hours in the middle of the night thing a lot lately. Like just awake from 2-4 am. Cause that's cool. NOT.
And Beetle was sick today. So we are all just a little worn down.
But I managed to upload some photos so figured I better type a little before the sweetness captured gets away from me.
What do Elmo, a pig butt, and a brontosaurus have in common?
Something.
At least in Juliet's play world as I found them all together in our sandbox.
Just a playin' together as happy as can be.
Beet decided to get in on the sand action.
Beetle showing Daddy stuff in her book.
She gets so excited when he comes home from work. "da-da-da-da" He must put down his laptop bag immediately so he can hold her (and Juliet) and her new request is for Buh-Buh. No, not Aunt Buh-Buh. The other Buh-Buh. I know this must be confusing. Remember our little mp3 player that has the TU fight song on it? Yeah, well we've been doing that when Dominic arrives home for work for almost 3 years now. The song has no words and we've sort of named it Buh-Buh.
Busted.
It appears that she was trying to draw a blue smiley face on her cheek, but we'll never know for sure I suppose.
This one shows the completed bookshelf a bit.
Basket of clean laundry is sometimes more entertaining than a playroom full of toys.
Note Beetles creative use of Dominic's boxers.
And Juliet's dress and hat. It's like Toddler Project Runway :)
Last weekend it was warm enough for this.
Beetles was so happy to be running around in her birthday suit with her sister rather than just sitting on the patio like she was last year. It's fun to be a big girl.
Can I just say that the way their hands are touching in the last picture makes my heart smile big.
Sweet sweet stuff.
Even if I never sleep from 2-4 am again.
Off to bed ...
Such sweet girls! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Autumn! I'm sure your little one is getting so big by now :)
