Eleven months. I don't even know what to say about this fact. How the time has flown I have no idea. Juliet gets bigger, cuter, and smarter by the day. I am so thankful for her and how she's blessed our family I can't even put it in words ... her barely awake but thrilled face when I come into her room in the morning, the way her face lights up when she sees her daddy, the endless hanging all over her brother, the relentless pointing, the giggles, the hugs. She's a sweetheart and I am so happy to be her mommy!
- Juliet had a cold nearly all month. Just a virus, but it made her grumpy, clingy, and a mess for a few days and nights. After a week, we went to the doctor who said she was fine, and then of course the next day has a runny nose and cough ... which lasted over 2.5 more weeks.
- Juliet did one nap for a month or so and went back to two naps while she was sick. We'll see what happens when she feels better.
- Juliet moved up to a convertible car seat! More about this later.
- Tooth #7, left lateral incisor (10 months, 1 week, 1 day)
- Little biter baby bit some marks on her crib rail. sigh. Fixed this problem with snazzy fleece crib rail!
- Mom decided to stop feeding Juliet in the night (after she got over the cold). We've tried more than a couple times with no success, so I'd taken a break for a few weeks and decided I'd try again. Seems to be doing better. After a few nights she stopped eating during the night, but she's still waking up.
- Dada - she knows his name! First official word. She'll point at Dominic, pictures, etc. and start partying (flapping arms and smiling) the moment she says it because she knows how exciting it is!!!
- Third major hair trim. The day she turned 10 months. I think I'm doing a decent job with her hair :) I can't believe how blond it's getting!
