march afternoon

We were supposed to go to the zoo yesterday, but every other family in the entire city had the same idea. We drove all the way there to find the parking lot packed and a long line to get in. So, I had to tell my sweet daughter - who has never been to the zoo - that we weren't going to see an elephant. I told her they were sleeping and that we'd go back again as soon as we could. She said "ok momma." Whew. So we spent the morning playing with friends outside, took a nap, and then played in the playroom. We had a tea party with Charlie, read books, played airplane, made silly faces, and just enjoyed the sun shining through the playroom windows.
