photo ambush

So the new camera is here and I am trying to figure out how to use it, but having a lot of fun in the process. I feel like I have a new hobby or something! We got a Nikon D40. It's a DSLR. Actually one that's been discontinued (got ours on ebay), but highly recommended by a site I came across in my research.

I think I have taken over 100 pictures over the last 3 days, and wanted to share a few of them. You can see the rest here, in our Flickr September photo album. All are unedited, straight out of the camera. Hopefully I will get around to editing them someday :)
